They have several collections. Morgan (mostly engineering), Morgan medical, ACM (co-publishing), IEEE (seems to be a subset of Morgan - Matt sends these from existing records)

Morgan & Claypool provides a spread sheet monthly for new titles. There will be 6 to 10 new titles per month, to be catalogued and revised by Susan
Lewis.

Spanish versions of the records may be created by Jessie Powell in the future.

The PDFs may be viewed on their site.

Synthesis and Colloquium are collections of short monographs in series that are born digitally as part of an online collection and can be updated. Each document has an ISBN and is part of a series with an ISSN. The documents also have DOIs and issue numbers, and are indexed in EI Compendex and INSPEC.

Some of their customers have created MARC records, so Z39.50 searching is worthwhile. Libraries worth searching are University of Washington Seattle, and University of California San Diego. Matt will search and send sets.

Note in particular cut and paste at 505. 520 and 653.

MoCl is considering adding Spanish and Portuguese subject headings to records. Charge per record charge for each set of subject headings to be determined.

If complete separate records in Spanish or Portuguese are prepared, 040$bspa and $bspa would be added.

Spanish subject headings

Spanish subject headings from Bilindex/Oakland are entered after LCSH and (if any) RVM, but before Portuguese.

Sources of Spanish Subject Headings:

Oakland list:

http://www.bibliotecasparalagente.org/sujetos.html

Headings assigned from Bilindex and the Oakland list would be coded as:

650 7 $a<Heading>$2bidex since the Oakland list is based on Bilindex.

Another possible source for Spanish subject headings:

http://lcsh-es.org/

You have to set up an account, but is free.

Another site with some potentially interesting information:

http://www.sol-plus.net/plus/home.htm

Locally created headings would be coded 650 4 $a<Heading>.

Enter Portuguese headings after LCSH, RVM, and Bilindex.

The usual source for Portuguese language subject headings is larpcal, coded: 650 7 $a<Heading>$2larpcal

LARPCAL Lista de Assuntos Referente Ao Programa de Cadastramento Automatizado de Livros (Brazilian library cataloging)

Direct link to the search page for subjects:

http://www.bn.br/site/pages/catalogos/terminologiaAssuntos/content.htm

Additional sources of Portuguese terms:

Alphabetic list of the "Vocabulário Controlado USP" (USP controlled vocabulary)

http://143.107.73.99/Vocab/Sibix652.dll/Assuntos

"Tesauro do HAPI" (portuguese part of HAPI Online)

http://hapi.ucla.edu/es/free/thesaurus.php

Terms from either of these lists would be coded 650 4 $a<Heading>.
